Welcoming the Fall Season with an Update from the Foundation President

Hello there, Neighborhood CU Foundation friends,

I’m so relieved to be able to say “Happy Fall” after the brutal summer we had! I hope everyone’s air conditioning units made it through the heat. We had quite a bit of excitement this summer and some good things coming up.

This summer two Neighborhood CU employees, Eric & Sasha, received scholarships from the Neighborhood CU Foundation to become Certified Credit Union Financial Counselors. I am proud to say they graduated with flying colors and are now officially certified!

Our team held a webinar in September about Building Your Credit from Scratch. They had some helpful tips and good conversation with the people who joined live. You can watch the recording here on YouTube, and please feel free to explore the other past webinar recordings on the channel as well!

We have several webinars coming soon and throughout the rest of 2023. Most of them are around saving for retirement and investing in your future. Be sure to follow us on social media so you don’t miss the registration for these online events.
