Summertime at Neighborhood CU Foundation

Hello there, Neighborhood CU Foundation friends,

Happy Summer! Thank you for your continued support and participation in helping us further our mission of financial well-being for all Texans. I am very excited about some of the new things we have going on right now. We launched our scholarship contest this Spring for Neighborhood CU members.

We are awarding three $2,000 scholarships to high school seniors or college freshmen to assist with their higher education. It was a very tough deliberation process for our committee, but look for the announcement of our winners very soon!

This summer two Neighborhood CU employees, Eric & Sasha, received scholarships from us to become Certified Credit Union Financial Counselors. We are excited for them to share their new knowledge directly with members and the community once they earn their certifications at the end of the summer.

We have several webinars coming up in July to discuss saving for retirement and investing in your future.
